Mighty Leaf Gardens is led by a team with complementary experience across regulated cannabis operations, inventory and supply systems, construction, manufacturing, business development, and Belize-based commercial relationships.
Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Richard Pine
Richard leads company strategy, business development, buyer relationships, infrastructure planning, and operational strategy for the company's Belize-based hemp and CBD platform.
- Former CEO and Dean of the Cleveland School of Cannabis, with additional cannabis management experience at Solevo Wellness supporting dispensary operations, staff training, SOP development, employee handbooks, compliance-focused workflows, and operating systems.
- Supported new dispensary construction, remodeling, facility readiness, and operational buildout at Solevo Wellness, and remained with the company through its acquisition by Trulieve.
- Brings hands-on experience across entrepreneurship, construction, property development, equipment planning, land-based operations, sales, and practical infrastructure execution.
- Long-standing family and business ties to Belize inform his commitment to building a responsible, locally connected hemp and CBD platform.
Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship, Kent State University.
Chief Operating Officer
Renee Pine
Renee supports Belize-based operations, inventory systems, staffing coordination, vendor relationships, facility readiness, and day-to-day operating structure.
- Born and raised in Cayo, Belize, bringing local knowledge, cultural understanding, and a personal connection to the country's people, workforce, and business environment.
- Advanced through multiple roles at Solevo Wellness, from receptionist to patient consultant to inventory manager, supporting ordering, returns, deliveries, inventory audits, and documentation in a highly regulated cannabis environment.
- Experience spans regulated cannabis operations, healthcare inventory systems, construction support, sales coordination, customer-facing operations, and supply management.
- Currently supports lab supply and inventory operations for The Cleveland Clinic's main hospital, with prior inventory and supply-chain experience at DaVita and Medline Renewal.
Currently enrolled in college coursework toward a degree in archaeology.
Chief Financial Officer & Co-Founder
Bryan Handley
Bryan supports financial strategy, capital planning, investor communications, business structuring, infrastructure planning, and the broader commercial vision behind the company's Belize-based hemp and CBD platform.
- Entrepreneur, construction professional, and owner-operator with more than 25 years of hands-on experience across residential, commercial, retail, and industrial projects.
- Has owned and operated businesses in the United States and Belize, including construction, cabinetry, ready-mix concrete, block manufacturing, construction materials, retail, and asset-holding ventures.
- Owner and partner in AC Ready Mix and Bricks in San Pedro, Belize, with direct experience in construction blocks, ready-mix concrete, equipment, materials, and Belize-based business operations.
- His construction, manufacturing, and building-material experience supports Mighty Leaf Gardens' long-term industrial hemp strategy, including hempcrete, hemp blocks, fiber, hurd/shiv, biomass, and infrastructure development.
Provides practical insight into cost control, crew leadership, manufacturing opportunities, capital planning, and infrastructure development in Belize.
